ISL Approved to Participate in Specialized Defense Consortium Accelerating the Development, Acquisition and Fielding of Drone and Unmanned Systems Capabilities
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Sept. 2, 2026 — Incredible Supply & Logistics (ISL), a specialized supply and logistics partner serving the Federal, Defense, Maritime and Space communities, today announced that it has been selected and approved for membership in the U.S. Department of War (DoW) Drone Other Transaction Authority (OTA) Consortium, further expanding ISL’s ability to support the rapidly evolving unmanned systems requirements of the U.S. military.
Established by the Department of War under the authority of 10 U.S.C. § 4022, the Drone OTA Consortium provides a streamlined acquisition pathway designed to accelerate the prototyping, evaluation and subsequent fielding of innovative drone technologies and warfighter solutions.
Membership requires companies to complete a formal application and acceptance process and demonstrate the organizational, regulatory and contracting readiness required to participate in the consortium.
ISL’s acceptance builds upon the company’s growing position in the unmanned systems market and its experience supporting drone systems, drone parts, components, sustainment requirements and complex Bills of Materials (BOMs) for the Department of War.

The Drone OTA Consortium is part of a broader Department of War effort to transform how unmanned technologies are identified, evaluated, acquired and delivered to military users.
The Department’s newly launched Drone Marketplace at Drones.mil provides a unified environment for unmanned systems across multiple warfighting domains. The Marketplace builds upon the U.S. Army’s UAS Marketplace and Department counter-UAS initiatives to shorten acquisition timelines and give warfighters greater access to vetted and relevant technologies.
Participation in the Drone OTA Consortium provides approved organizations with the opportunity to respond to Department of War Areas of Interest, Statements of Need, Requests for White Papers and other competitive opportunities that can lead to Prototype and Production OTA awards.
For ISL, consortium membership creates another pathway to connect its extensive drone supply ecosystem and specialized sourcing capabilities directly with emerging warfighter requirements.
